Questions about Ask Abide Bible
What is Ask Abide Bible?
Ask Abide Bible is a free Bible AI chat. Type any question or prayer and receive a gentle answer drawn from the whole Bible, written in the warm, first-person voice of Jesus.
Is it like a Bible GPT or ChatGPT for the Bible?
It works like an AI chat, but every answer is grounded in real Scripture. Before answering, Abide searches all 31,000 verses of the World English Bible and gives the most relevant passages to an open-weight AI model, so answers stay close to what the Bible actually says. Ask Abide Bible is independent and not affiliated with OpenAI or ChatGPT.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is completely free. There is no sign-up, no account and no paywall. Everyone can ask up to 15 questions a day.
Which Bible translation does it use?
Scripture comes from the World English Bible (WEB), a modern, public-domain English translation. Answers follow the teaching shared across mainstream Christianity and speak gently where traditions differ.
Can I share a prayer request?
Yes. Share what is on your heart and Abide answers with comfort from Scripture and a short blessing. If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
Are my questions private?
You never sign in, so questions aren't tied to your name. Each question is sent to the AI model only to write your answer, popular answers may be saved so they load faster for others, and a hashed daily count applies the free question limit.
