What does the Bible say about exercise and health?
Paul says bodily training has some value while godliness has value for all things, treating care of the body as good but not ultimate.

1 Timothy 4:8
“For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
Proverbs 17:22
“A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
