Money and work
What does the Bible say about stewardship?
Everything belongs to God, and we are managers rather than owners. Faithfulness with a little is the test for more.
What Scripture says
1 Corinthians 4:2
“Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.”
Luke 16:10-11
“He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”
Psalm 24:1
“The earth is the LORD’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it.”
Matthew 25:21
““His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’”
