Life and modern questions

What does the Bible say about travel?

Scripture is full of journeys, and James warns against making plans as if tomorrow were ours to control.

What Scripture says

James 4:13-15

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.” Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.”

Psalm 121:7-8

The LORD will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.

Proverbs 16:9

A man’s heart plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps.

Genesis 28:15

Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”
