What does the Bible say about dating?
Dating as we know it is not in the Bible, but Scripture speaks about purity, honouring others, guarding the heart and marrying someone who shares your faith.
What Scripture says
2 Corinthians 6:14
“Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?”
1 Thessalonians 4:3-5
“For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God,”
Proverbs 4:23
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.”
Philippians 4:8
