Living and character
What does the Bible say about smoking?
The Bible never mentions smoking, but it does call your body a temple of the Holy Spirit and warns against anything that masters you.
What Scripture says
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
1 Corinthians 6:12
““All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.”
1 Corinthians 10:31
“Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
Romans 12:1
“Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.”
