Welcoming strangers is a recurring command, and Scripture says some have entertained angels without knowing it.

What Scripture says

Romans 12:13

contributing to the needs of the saints, and given to hospitality.

Hebrews 13:2

Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

1 Peter 4:9

Luke 14:13-14

But when you make a feast, ask the poor, the maimed, the lame, or the blind; and you will be blessed, because they don’t have the resources to repay you. For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous.”
